MEMOIRS OF A
GEISHA™ Inspired by the award-winning costume designs from the film, Robert Tonner introduces the Memoirs of a Geisha™ collection.
Mameha™ and Sayuri™ are app. 16" tall with multiple articulated joints, including bending wrists. Dolls are sculpted with stationary flat feet with separated toes (for sandals) and they feature a smaller bustline than traditional Tyler-style 16" fashion dolls. Please note that not all Tyler-style 16" outfits will fit the Geisha-style doll at the bustline. This bustline is also used in the NYCB dolls and Cinderella's Wicked Stepsister, Euphemia.

$174.99 Suggested Retail Availability TBD (Raven Hair, forward-glancing gray/blue eyes) Sayuri wears three layers of clothing, starting with the under slip with nude satin bodice detail and ombré dyed skirt; over this layer is a light, shimmering ombré dyed robe and sash. The final layer is the crowing glory of custom embroidered kimono features watery swirls and cranes in exacting detail based on the film’s famous costume. The obi sash completes the look, and is tied in the front for this dance sequence (the obi is traditionally tied in the back; however, Sayuri removes the outer kimono as a part of her dance). Includes geisha sandals from the film with tiny bells inside, decorative parasol and custom stand. Doll is crafted with white tone vinyl head, upper breastplate, and lower arms/hands as authorized by Sony/Columbia pictures.
